Niles Township sponsored its semi- annual “drive up and drop off” shred event this past Saturday, May 20th. We collected about 5,850 tons of paper! The statistics below show how 2.93 processed tons of recycled paper benefit our environment. Mark your calendars for our next shred event on October 14th, 12:00-2:00.
Food Pantry Manager, Tony Araque, helping a Niles Township resident unload shredding material from her car.
Deputy Assessor, Rick Krier, helped out with unloading bags of shredding material from a long line of cars.
Food Pantry Employee, Ryan Hurban, helped load the material to be shredded in Proshred’s onsite truck.
Thank you to all the Niles Township residents that came out in the rain to make this another successful event! And thank you to the Niles Township employees and elected officials for making this run so smoothly.
