We at Niles Township Government cannot think of any individual who more deserves the William Z. Ahrends Award in 2016.  Mr. Levy’s dedication and many, many years of service to Niles Township have been invaluable to the formation of many programs which benefit the residents of the Township.   His dedication to the Township Officials of Illinois, Township Officials of Cook County and the several recognized divisions such as the Clerks’ Division, the Illinois Township Attorneys’ Association and Zone District Educational Seminars has been a stellar light throughout his almost 40 years of public service.  He is and always has been the one source that most all newly elected (and even senior officials) call upon for his sage advice.
