All Cook County Chipotle locations will donate 50% of their proceeds to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The Greater Chicago Food Depository allows the Niles Township Food Pantry and all other Food Pantries to purchase food at subsidized prices. We support and thank them for all that they do!
Niles Township is having its annual Health Fair on October 20th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Free Flu shots for any Niles Township resident over the age of 8. No appointment necessary. Hearing tests, diabetes screening , and blood pressure testing will also be available.
Niles Township collected donations this year to purchase school supplies for the children in need in our community. We were able to buy backpacks and fill them with school supplies. We also received supplies as donations from generous members of our community. With the help of all the donations, we were able to give 5 times the amount of backpacks we did last year! We hope the amount of children we can help grows each year!
Pictured below are some of the preparations that took place for our Annual School Supply Give-Away. Thanks to everyone for making this possible.
Niles Township sponsored its semi- annual “drive up and drop off” shred event this past Saturday, May 20th. We collected about 5,850 tons of paper! The statistics below show how 2.93 processed tons of recycled paper benefit our environment. Mark your calendars for our next shred event on October 14th, 12:00-2:00.

Thank you to all the Niles Township residents that came out in the rain to make this another successful event! And thank you to the Niles Township employees and elected officials for making this run so smoothly.
